i can't send pms because my outbox is full but to answer your question, you could have two profile pictures before 2016 or 17 i think. they changed that with the new profile system so now if i change my icon then i'll have only one profile picture for both. As a result i just have the same old icon i did way back then.

Pick whichever one appeals to you the most. You can always change it at some point in the future if you change your mind and it's still available. I changed my username about 4 or 5 times so far (and this was back in the day when you'd have to PM the admins to get it changed) and I eventually settled on this one. It's easier now that it's an option for supporters.
